I go by this restaurant and occasionally eat there, and just now realized this is alive after 1°F. A bunch of sabals fruiting and this one, it's hot and humid here and sometimes wet, its about twenty feet at least.

Nice. Any Washingtonia that survives single digits in Louisiana is a tough one.

This gives me some hope for my Washingtonia hybrids up here in Virginia. I used to protect them when they were smaller, but they have proven much hardier than expected.
