Wasps on palms

Is this an issue for some of you!?

A friend of mine has lots of mature palms. Sabals seems to provide a great spot for wasp nests but he gets stung as he brushes against the more lower hanging fronds.

I have destroyed dozens of those Wasp nests on every property I own since moving to Texas.

Grab literally anything (stick, rolled up newspaper, leather gloves) in one quick motion knock Wasp nest to ground, then stomp vigorously with boot or shoe until Wasps stop moving.

Repeat as necessary.

I have NEVER paid someone or used a chemical to kill Wasps in Texas.

I have been stung by them before it is not a big deal they are not that aggressive if you act quickly and stomp the heck out of them before they know what hit ‘em.

A ladder might be necessary along with a broomstick if they get up somewhere high.

Man up you are in Texas now sir, the old timers here would laugh at people having to ask the Internet how to kill a Wasp nest. 🫣

Not yet.. but they are around and build nests under my patio cover.  Someone mentioned to me that they eat mosquitos??..they don't bother me much..I forget they're there... another person mentioned during a discussion that they are very territorial and if you want them to move.. is you take a paper lunch sack and crumple it into a ball and hang it nearby.. they will move immediately thinking it's another wasp nest..  haven't tried it yet...

Thanks, I appreciate @Fuscas:  "I invested a few bucks in a pool toy squirter.  Mix some dish soap in a bucket, fill the squirter and take aim from several feet away.  My aim isn't perfect but I rarely have to reload!  😜  Problem solved."

Not sure if walking around ones property with a colorful pool toy squirter is considered to be very 'Texan' but it surely sounds fun (and not causing any unnecessary soil compaction!😛)
