Hi, would anyone think it would be a good idea to add a vent to my foam insulated box for the winter? Something like a dryer vent or something similar?

Absolutely! Stagnant damp air is a recipe for mold. I think even a small fan to help circulate air will help. In colder climates these enclosures are closed up for longer, more frequent periods.

Also place your pot plants on styrofoam to help insulate from the cool ground.
