I would love to hear recommendations on germinating Jubea chilensis seed. I have some fresh seed and would love any advice given. Thank you in advance to all that can provide some insight!

This is how I've been germinating some seeds since a few months, this one is Jubaea. Slightly moist soil in a sealed container, futher i neglect it totally. First germination was within 8 weeks. thumbnail_IMG_7090.jpg.9f32c3ec97da2812c8ab307a891676fb.jpgthumbnail_IMG_7092.jpg.c9d16ab16eaa8447a6bb65a16a1233cd.jpg

I kept my jubaea seed moist in perlite in a ziplock bag and put it on a heat mat for 24-48 hours then moved it off the heat mat and simply placed it on my counter and it sprouted very quickly

Lowest seen: 16F, Highest seen: 105F. Heavy red clay (iron oxide). Amended to 6.5-7PH using Dolomitic lime. (No yearly fertilizer for lawn, just for independent plants).

42 years ago I got a couple dozen Jubaea seeds from a friend in California.  I put 3 in a small pot 8 pots in total using soil from property I had just purchased.  I had no idea what I was doing but was told by a palm expert I would be lucky if one or two sprouted.  3 sprouted, one died a year later and two I planted in ground three years later.  Today the two Jubaea are:
