I did a quick walk-through through one of my favorite public gardens in Northern California. This is a great display of palms that can do well in coastal northern California's moderate climate.

Things are looking really good over there Kyle. I did a quick walk through yesterday as well. You and your volunteers are doing a great job considering some of the challenges. I don't think I've ever seen it look so clean.

And that Parajubaea torallyi is getting massive!, but I wonder how much longer those Parajubaea coccoides are going to be around...

I wish I could take credit for participating in the upkeep, however I was just doing a quick walk through myself! I was excited to see a few second generation Parajubaea cocoides sprouting up!

The gentleman who has been spending lots of time maintaining that garden is also named Kyle. He and Will are the main force behind the revival of this great public palmatum, through volunteering work on many Saturdays with help from many members of the local chapter of the IPS. It looks so neat and fresh now,  as shown in your beautifully shot photos, but it is probably hard to imagine just how messy and neglected it was only a few years ago

I actually haven't worked in the Palmetum in over a year...You know how life changes sometimes. It's been all Kyle.

Who's Kyle on here, what's his handle?

Great photos, I always want to go check this out, but being a father of a young daughter makes life busy right now. Someday when I have more time, perhaps I can even get involved.
