Interesting choice of landscaping during the Venice Beach celebration ceremony for the upcoming 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.  As the French might say, "Nice faux fronds!"😉

Lol I came here just to see if anyone had started a thread about the fake L.A. Palms for the Olympics. Why? Just why? Venice Beach doesn’t look L.A. Enough? They don’t even look like real coconut palms, they look like cartoon coconut palms, made real-ish.

Corpus Christi, TX, near salt water, zone 9b/10a! Except when it isn't and everything gets nuked.

I heard  ..from a super- reliable FB Meteorologist / Climatologist,  that puts out online forecasts here and in CA btw...  that those " Venice Beach Coconuts " are actually real,  VERY real..  ..And that only the haters out there don't believe they're real.

..But to see them,  you have to wear a special pair of polarized " truth "  aviator-  like sunglasses  ..that can only be purchased from him ..and his brother,   from the basement of their father-in-law's house which is located somewhere near Corona, CA...

FYI:  He recently crashed his scooter while chasing the epic, mega - 400 count tornado swarm here in AZ late last week  ..so,  if you go to order a pair of sunglasses on his fancy lightning badge page,  you might have to wait a couple weeks to receive them.. And that they might smell like a litter box. Not sure why..

He promised tho that  " Once you get them and put them on, you'll finally be able to see all the magnificent Coconuts planted from here to Portland Oregon "..  ..A truth that has been hidden from the public, on purpose,  for decades.. 😁

You forgot the most important part . They were germinated by a scientist on the space station and beamed down years ago to be revealed at just the right time . It only needs copious amounts of Mountain Dew to survive Earth’s climate. Harry

Yep.. Lots of Mtn. Dew..

My FB bud also mentioned  -by accident-  that the the scientist who created those -and the millions of other Coconuts planted all over CA-  worked for Disney.  ...That's why they look sorta cartoon -ish.

After two old Phillipina ladies firmly insisted that my Parajubaea was a coconut, I decided to conform !  :winkie:

Okay fine I'm guilty too. I scattered a couple coconuts around some of my Beccariophonix alfredii and they aren't anywhere near trunking. Tacky? Maybe.....🤠

Remember.. you need to water w/ Mtn. Dew ..The Code Red  ...or whatever it's called...  one to get your Becccariophoenix -is actually a coconut btw ..just needs more code red to produce proper looking fruits..   ...And a pair of the sunglasses i mentioned to see the rest..

They're all around you,  trust me, guaranteed, for sure -est..

Very true. Beccariophoenix are indeed coconuts. Lemur coconuts.  I hate to say it but I believe my most recent issue my with my Beccariophoenix is most likely that I've been watering with Baja Blast instead of Code Red.....
