A fungi to hang out with

I've had this P roebelinii for 4 years now.  Roeb's are one of the best potted palms I've had experience with.

Today I caught it hanging out with a fungi.

I've had an excellent experience with these in pots too.  I managed to keep one alive and well in a pot for 17 years carrying it around with me from Georgia to North Carolina to Tennessee and finally Texas where I was able to put it in the ground.  I only potted it up once - it amazed me how happy it stayed in a relatively small space for its roots.  You've got some good decomposition going on there!  :)

Wow great ID.  I have always like mushrooms but identifying them is like a dark art.  Unless they're morels.
