They look entirely different than ones I germinated. Three years in, and mine are about as tall as your seedlings.

I knew they were fast but I didn’t know they were that fast growing! Gives me hope mine will grow quick too. How long would you say until it leaves the strapleaf stage? These also probably won’t go in the ground.. I’m in zone 6A so there is no way! These will probably be potted on my deck and overwintered in my basement under a heating lamp with my windmills

could depend on how much heat they get and how fast they grow but for me it was 4-5 months from seed to get out of strapleaf stage

These do well in pots here in Southern California . They grow very fast  , I can’t remember how long from strap to palmate but it seems fast on the volunteers I have had pop up in my garden. I have only kept one , most are given away or just pulled up. They usually pop up in full sun areas and the straps aren’t near that long. Harry

Palmpeii is one of my favorite sources for palms.  Great selection and really nice,  healthy palms. I think my next 'adventure' will be in purchasing a few Robusta seedlings myself.
