Pentagonia macrophylla …questions please!?

Was wondering if thisPentagonia macrophylla plant will grow in Florida zone 10 A… information about growing it, etc. etc. and if people had luck with it? And where could I get one?

Any help would be appreciated!

I have successfully grown Pentagonia wendlandii (sometimes called macrophylla in error) for years in Miami.  However, I would never put in it the ground because when the temperature dips below 55 I would move it under cover.  Lower temps will not kill it but terribly damage the leaves that then take a season to replace themselves.  I have grown it from seeds which are terribly slow and from cuttings under mist.  If you search Palmtalk, you will find a number of threads on Pentagonia.  I believe Top Notch Tropical in the Redland carries plants which are not seedlings.

Pentagonias love water so my most successful place to grow them was just at the edge of my mist house.
