I purchased a Meditteranean Fan Palm and put it in a 20 inch pot about 11 weeks ago. I live in  Arizona (Zone 8b).  The Palm seems to be doing well and is getting new growth. I am planning to start fertilizing with Oscomote Plus, and from what I read this is probably a good time to start.  Can anyone give any recommendations on how much to use and how often to apply it?

My septic leach field is back there and I don't like planting things in the ground over it. I would have preferred to put it in the ground, but here we are...
