No time to visit the many palmy places as in Long Beach only for a relative’s wedding. I didn’t even have a rental car.

However with pressure from a fellow IPS member on the East Coast, I walked the mile from my Airbnb to In and Out Burgers.

I read about the history of the chain which features palm decor

and most notably crossed palms at each location.

I really was NOT hungry but ordered a milkshake anyway and then got an employee to snap an “I was there” sort of photo.

Maybe later this week I will track down the movie that inspired the iconic crossed palms.

What other palm themed business logos can you post?

Posting does NOT mean endorsement of the business or product.

That is their iconic landscaping at most if not all locations.  There is one on the main street near my house in the Inland Empire.

Cindy you missed out on having the best burger ever!  Order their fries light-well!

This California family-owned business has always liked their palm trees!   The only ones that don't have palm trees are the up north where they won't survive the winters.

From the Washingtonias of the In-N-Out burgers of Southern California…to the Sabals of In-N-Out burger Central Texas.

Cindy, yachtingone is correct you really should try a Double-Double “Animal Style” next time with your “Light-Well” fries… and maybe a Neapolitan shake perhaps?

I love the photos Dwarf Fan!

Other than PalmTalk/IPS friends, I will soon have no contacts in Inn and Out States (my relative is moving this month), but if travel brings me back I will find another Inn and Out to visit when I am hungry.

Of course I would not object if they opted to spread to Puerto Rico!

I think the movie you are thinking of is - Its a mad mad mad mad world”? The treasure is under the big “W”! 🙂 I went down an internet rabbit hole one night trying get the history on those palms. I want to think they were huge queen palms planted for the movie and maybe there is one of the 4 left? The spot is on private property now.
