I had  a taitungensis set some seeds so why not grow them I can always put a long row of them in as a landscape feature or just use them in the garden somewhere they don’t get eaten by the cycad moth so a good one to grow for that reason and similar looking to the revoluta.

    Doubt that the pollinator is in your area. Cycas will form seeds just fine without any pollinator being present. Unfortunately without fertilization they wouldn't have any embryos, so no seedlings.

    I have around 20 mature taitungensis and I do get viable seeds I have germinated them in the past from my own seed taitungensis and revoluta set viable seeds in my area.

    I’ve got some seeds of these. Not having ever germinating these ot any Chad for that matter, any tricks of the trade you might share ?

    Pretty straightforward just half bury the seed and wait around 8 months or more some good potting mix have a look in the photos for any tips on seed placement there easy to grow good luck
