Last year I noticed spider mite like webs on my Pygmy palms. I collected the bugs and material and took it to a well known area palm nursery. They couldn’t identify the bugs but suggested malathion. I sprayed and it took care of the problem, however this year I noticed the signs again and here was my mistake… I used last years mixture and sprayed into the crowns…FRYED THEM. So now I have 6 crowns with rot that I have used hydrogen peroxide on, pulled the loose material out and am praying they recover. Four of them went right down to open cavity.
any more advice for saving my palms?

That's a kicker about using some insecticides / other things  that contain an oil base ( Added to help the targeted product stick ).

What you have done is pretty much all you can do at this point ..other than keeping them irrigated and shading from afternoon sun if exposed to it..

Hopefully the damage did not fry the growth points and new growth will emerge ..even if it is a bit damaged looking until all the damage has been pushed out by new growth..
