From my faded memory I think this one chamaedorea is a microspadix but my memory is most definitely what it used to be so iam calling on the palm gurus to help identify this one iam sure someone in palm land must know what variety it is as they get pretty confusing the chamaedorea at times because iam most certainly not sure 🤔

Yeah sure for Richard. Red berries are a good indicator for C microspadix which differentiate it from other similar clumping Chamaedorea species.

Yep looks like Microspadix to me. Easily germinated like Radicalis but slightly larger fruit, they are freely distributed throughout my garden in shaded places. Harry

I hope you will not mind me posting this here but I also have these as Microspadix. Bunch is producing hundred flowers but it seems like there is not a single seed? Are they all same sex?

Microspadix they appear to be to me.

Plant them and they should sprout into the most gorgeous fat green seedlings. Tough, too!
