I just got it from a friend didn’t want to plant it if it was Robusta dominant .

The spines look pretty aggressive and regular for a pure filifera. Here is a pretty good key.

Pure juvenile filifera in natural groves disprove the spine theory.  

Hint, they are quite thorny.
