Apart from the coconuts that I posted I also have a Christmas palm and a couple Royals

The grass is very dry because we are in a drought here in Mexico City.

Know it's been brutally dry / hot everywhere down there but, that side of the country starting to see -any-  rainfall yet?

Hoping the rainy season starts soon if not.

There has been a bit of rain during the night and we had some in the afternoon but nothing of that really helps. We need a couple of strong ones.

Really strong sun actually. Years prior we should have thunderstorms by now but there is just a few drops here and there that evaporate quickly with this heat

Its been really hot and dry in the mountains around Morelia and Uruapan, Michoacan. Down on the coast there is no sign of the rainy season starting, but its been cooler than normal, due to cooler ocean temperatures.

Where are you located in Mexico city?

When I lived in Mexico City, I loved to go to Madreselve in Xochimilco. Awesome selection of plants and a cool vibe.

My daughter had friends that lived up in Bosques. We lived further down on Monte Athos in Lomas de Chapultepec. It’s a great climate for gardens but the hail storms would always wreck havoc on mine.
Keep us updated on your progress.

Saludos

Si, I also have some other tropicals like Mango, banana and mamey. Used to see way more hail than what we now get.
I will surely keep you guys updated.
