And now…damaged bottom fronds are the only ones left. Most all others are new.

It is loaded with inflorescence and I’ve let it go. I’ve always cut them off but they do have some aesthetic interest…if tons of little yellow balls drop to the ground, does that indicate male or female?IMG_0200.thumb.jpeg.2f3ddac7dcae7a5bb540d83f809cf1c8.jpeg

I guess it’s on its way to 12’…what a great palm tree this has been!

Beautiful. Earlier this week we got 2" of rain - the first in many weeks. Nothing coming up but I'm hoping we are on the transition to rainy season. It's turned brutally hot for mid-May: 97F at the moment. More swelter on the way.
