Need more information. Type of palm, indoor or outdoor, in ground or in pots, local weather conditions, etc…

Generally true but different palms have different needs and I’m not sure about the Cyprus environment.

We live in mediterranean climate in Cyprus. My palms are queen and king palms in the ground.

Those are both fairly fast growers in most temperate climates. Both love water but , depending on your soil , don’t really require much fertilizer. If they are young , or not looking their best you can use a palm fertilizer like Palm Plus or Palmgain but the speed of growth won’t be that noticeable. Harry

heat plus water works on most palms here.  I have various kings(archies) no queens by choice.  When the soil temps are above 65F microbial activity that helps most palms uptake nutrients is high, below 60F soil temp it is low and so there will be less nutrient uptake.  When florida rains hit here in june/july everything jumps.  If you wasnt palms to grow better in cyprus I would go with drip irrigation and fertilize and increase watering duration in the heat if you have clay soils.

Formerly in Gilbert AZ, zone 9a/9b. Now in Palmetto, Florida Zone 9b/10a??

Don't over trim their leaves.

Read, read, read about those queens and kings - start with Palmpedia. Learn what needs they demand for maximum growth in your country. Set up a plan to meet all those needs, hope the weather cooperates.

All the above suggestions are good but you have to be pro-active on your own behalf.
