At what point might a Brahea dulcis sucker, and is there any evidence of a suckering habit in a young plant?

Also, which might be more apt to sucker, the green form or the blue form?

If you have a suckering Brahea dulcis, please post photos 🙂.

Will, I just noticed my dulcis start to sucker today and it's pretty young - no character leaves yet but almost!  Mine is the blue form.

Do these propogate by the suckers? Asking for someone who practically begs for stuff people throw in their compost heaps.

Edit: No, John, they do not.

Well that answers my question perfectly. They do start suckering at a young age. Thank you for posting!

I certainly wasn't expecting it to sucker - which is rare - but the parent palm is solitary!  I guess it's hard to predict and you have to grow it out to see what you get.
