this year saw about 4 hummingbird nests in my palm garden and I have noticed that they reuse the previous years nests as well.  well here are the babies all mature and ready to take on the world.  this nest happily sits right outside my front door and unfortunately, the mother scrambles every time a visitor is present.  its great to know that every morning, my yard is alive with birds of all kinds and they seem to flock to my personal oasis in the middle of this desolate high desert community with nothing but green lawns and sparse foliage.

we even have had a bobcat family roaming our yard now because it has become so dense with four baby cubs.

i would be interested to see and know what interesting wildlife your yards has attracted due to the rich and lush gardens each of you have created.

I have seen fox, mountain lion , bobcats, raccoons, king snakes and garden snakes. Lizards everywhere. Lots of hummingbirds , blue jays , crow , red tail and Cooper’s hawks , vultures, and a couple of eagles. We are near open space so we never know what will wander through our neighborhood. A Red Tail hawk on my wife’s hawk sculpture on our deck. Harry

That's very cool. My older brother used to be a master falconer and the red tail was one of his first learner bird of prey ultimately graduating to a Harris hawk.
