Potted Foxtail near Van BC

Yeah so i was cruising around metro van (Delta) earlier today looking at different nurseries to see if there were any palm varieties, and to my surprise I saw a Foxtail Palm sitting near the entrance of a Canadian Tire. Not the first place I would have expected it at. Was thinking of getting it in the near future but I still have to look into the care and space of having it in my yard. Is $200 a good deal for this palm, any takes?

Not a good choice for that far north. They are great palms for more temperate gardens. Here, in Southern California , they are becoming a bit more common . Even here , if you want one , you should plant more than one . They have a habit of dying occasionally. You can plant two or three and one or two will thrive and one will just fade . One of mine grew very well for about eight years , about 6’ of smooth trunk and then started pushing small fronds , eventually dying. Harry
