Here is a few new pics of my Nova x Waggie. Ive raised these from seed and this winter I've kept them in my indoor greenhouse and they have almost doubled. I have to say I really don't know that much about. T. Nova outside more slender and read not as cold hardy. These seem to have done great I'm guessing their around 4 yrs old from seed.

Very nice Steve.  I'm assuming that you bought the seeds and didn't make the cross yourself?

Those look great!  Trachys have a very tropical look to them, despite being very cold hardy.  One would never guess if they didn't know.

Yes I bought them from Jeff st Gelais in BC.

Thanks very much.

I know I had 4 last year. I may have the other 2 in my larger greenhouse. Since these are my only ones more than likely I'll keep both. They will stay in pots at least until they outgrow a 7 gallon pot. I'm going to do more research on T. Nova cold hardiness.

Allen, the first ones are the sabals. I'll get pics of the s. Louisiana later. Most of the waggie x Fortunei are on about the 4th or early 5th frond.

Allen the first pic is one of the Louisiana and the 2nd one is a minor that suppose to be very cold hardy but only gets about 3 foot tall. Came out of Austin Tx.

Low germination rate like me on those Louisianas they are tough to get going.   I've got a seed bag to try again this year
