Here is mine, to the left is my Dypsis Decipiens, that had split into two growth points, but I successfully got one dug out.  It is doesn’t have enough sun, so it’s very slow. Cecile

Nice. I have one maybe a bit smaller than yours. Just now developing silver color, had been green for years. No-fuss palm. I love it. Just to clarify, you dug out a growth point from the Dypsis or the Brahea? And was that to propagate the palm or to thin it out?

I wanted a Decumbens, but I was too slow on it and the nursery offering some sold out..

I really like the color on yours.  Mine is not as silver/blue.   It just started flowering this year. 94C6BCFB-F049-461B-AEDF-A590455A2119.thumb.jpeg.d24cb725570caf6a68365ee0d7c203ab.jpeg6EB4D76A-A738-463E-B6A9-A62E3920A2AF.thumb.jpeg.81735e1c1b2acc6afb6d45e517da905b.jpeg

To my knowledge , I haven’t seen one of these in my area. I have the Edulis and Armata . This one looks to have similarities to both , nice looking palm. Harry

Mine happens to be next to a silver Serenoa repens (you can see one frond of it on the right side of the photo). Both palms have a lot in common, at least superficially. Silver leaves, low growing form, suckering.
