New place to buy online

I would not believe it if I didn’t see it myself.  
Did you know you can buy rare palm trees online through Walmart! That’s right !    
just go online to their website and type in palm trees.   Some of the prices are way to expensive but it doesn’t hurt to look 👀.   Right! There was a few that weren’t to bad of a price.

It’s important to type in palm tree live.  
the Ernesti Augusti palm for 27 bucks not bad.

I suppose in Bulk its not horrible... around 20 bucks a plant if you get 15

To expensive for me that’s for sure but some interesting stuff for sale.

I guess it’s a good deal if you like the palm in bulk and it’s hardy for you but 3gallon Trachy  for 139.00 way to expense.  And that’s not counting shipping. 
I just thought Walmart getting in the rare palm trees was kinda interesting.  LOL peace on

I thought the same, but if you look closely Walmart still only sells the basic pygmies, washingtonia mutts, and majestys as per usual, all these over-priced exotics are from the 3rd party seller "Wekiva Foliage" it looks like.

So true with inflatable prices because they are the middle man. Nothing personal with Walmart I shop there all the time.  Its best to stick with sellers that grow themselves or grow your own from seeds.  
Wekiva foliage sounds like a nice nursery but are wholesale only I bet.  It use to be in Florida you could buy whole sale without a nursery license.  Not sure if that’s true today.

i've seen a few distributors there offer sabals at whole sale and they didn't appear to require a liscence but i'm not sure...

I also think Wekiva is hiking up there own prices, walmart.com works a bit like Amazon, where 3rd party sellers can host their products/goods and walmart would take a cut, probably the reason for their prices.

Wekiva sells on Amazon, Etsy, eBay, Walmart, wherever but they're almost as expensive as Jungle Music

At lease Jungle Music has variety but the shipping is really high.  And he’s a member here. IPS.  I miss all the smaller palm growers in California and Texas there all retired they had some great prices and were palmtalk members.  Pattric (spelling?). Is the last one and does awesome hybrids. Florabunda is mostly subtropical and tropical. There still smaller independent sellers in WA and OR.  And other states.

Yes they are so best to buy directly from nursery like Wekvia in Fl.  No middle man to pay you just have to not buy the over priced ones. They do sell nice size 4” containers from $27 to $35.   With free shipping.   Not a big selection though.
