Buying a couple more for the collection that’s forever getting bigger it’s an addiction that can only be cured by buying more plants there is no cure for plant addiction I didn’t even try to stop no use iam only going to buy more this time a lanonia calciphila memeycylon species and a anthurium terticollectivium should supply my fix for another week mail order just gives you more choices of rare plants as the local nurseries (the ones still in business) have mostly been shut down for various reasons and they only supply common money making plants that’s not for my style of gardening

I'm also guilty of being a compulsive plant buyer. I received 6 shipments today (3 of seedlings and 3 seed orders), and more are in the "pipeline". As far as I can tell, there is no cure for this addiction.

My addiction to palms and aroids doesn't get fed anywhere near as often as I would like it to be. My succulent addiction is also similarly controlled but due to lower prices (not always though) and easy availability I fall off the wagon every couple of weeks.  Permanent penury and and a glorified courtyard for a garden limits my insatiable desire to purchase every new palm or aroid I learn about.

I could only image an addictive personality on top of a plant obsession a recipe for disaster you would tremble just walking past a weed in a nursery wanting to buy it  🤣
