This is way out of my range to plant in the ground. Wondering if this would be a good choice size wise to plant permanently inside a greenhouse. Is full grown size relative to a big Sabal minor?

The trunks on decumbens are much longer, and crawl near the ground like snakes, the coolest weirdest things.

I’d put it in a big tub you can move if you have to. They don’t take being dug and moved well.

I planted my decumbens at the top of my easement almost like it’s growing on a cliff . It looks green and small right now 😂and doesn’t liked to be watered . Same with dulcis that in 15 foot from it but looks flawless and blue as hell

Here’s my little guy. Really weird palm, I got this 2 years ago in a 5 gallon deep pot, which I thought was odd for the size of the palm. I took it out of the pot and there were roots wrapped around the bottom of the pot. Root system far more developed than what is above the soil line. IMG_8506.thumb.jpeg.50e30604b69d0e95cf3611c8c2388563.jpeg

Like all Braheas they are root sensitive. They also don’t like wet cold in a container, but do fine in the ground.

How tall do they have to be before they start crawling on the ground?
