Spangled drongo bird Dicrurus bracteatus

Featured Replies

The spangled drongo a fantastic bird they visit my garden seasonally an amazing bird I would recommend a bird bath for any garden position it just under a tree or shrub where the birds can sit in safety darting in and out of the bath

I have Spangled Drongos here. Apparently the subspecies on the east coast migrate seasonally to PNG. The subspecies here is more sedentary so I have them all year. I really like their calls, apart from the screeching one.
