Good evening Palmtalk,

Has anyone ever had "angel bread" from a sprouted coconut?  How's the taste and texture.  I will likely never enjoy this delicacy, as I would plant any sprouted coconut for the palm, but if I had a bunch, I might try one.  It looks delicious, like a huge scoop of coconut ice-cream.

I was kinda shocked reading Etsy reviews of sprouted coconuts that people were paying $50 to eat them, so it must be good. I've had sleep for dinner plenty of nights in my life, so the idea of paying that much for a snack, it better be amazing.

I agree John/Sancho, a real delicacy to me too, for sure.

I came across the following website that sells the sprouted de-husked coconuts for $27 (plus tax and shipping, I assume).

I see where a coconut bonsai could be made out of these too.

I guess the next time I buy anything off of Etsy, I'm going to add how delicious it was in my review.

I do love me some coconut, but I'm still in no position to pay that much for a snack.

Yeah, I might eventually get one and do a bonsai, as that looks like how they are made initially, by de-husking the coconut and polishing the endocarp to fancy it up.

It'd be cool for a showpiece, if I could ever keep up the heat and humidity. I don't even have the patience or dedication to do what @Philly J does for his coco...

Hopefully, PhillyJ will share his coconut bonsai with us.
