I think because you were pointing your phone down to take pictures(in your for sale thread) they sometimes get disoriented on which direction the picture should be. If you click edit real quick on your phone, verify they show the correct direction, either reorient them correctly, or if correct just click some basic adjustment such as brightness, etc. and do a slight adjustment. Any slight form of editing will save the current orientation for when it’s uploaded. I’ve had pictures show correct on my phone but go sideways, etc. when uploading and doing this cures it every time.

That's correct. It worked for me. All I did was increase brightness 1% and it no longer rotated the portrait-orientation photos.
