I found this order form in a old palm cycad societies of Australia magazine amazing how cheap and what was available back then some good varieties

Back in the good old days

Millbrook, "Kinjarling" Noongar word meaning "Place of Rain", Rainbow Coast, Western Australia 35S. Warm temperate. Csb Koeppen Climate classification. Cool nights all year round.

I do remember those days when you actually phoned someone up and they were not home so you called usually after work 🤣

I remember long before I discovered Palmtalk I got the majority of my palm info from the PACSOA website and then from Geoff Stein's articles on Dave's Garden.

I remember those times when everything had to go through post, any inquiry and any reply, I remember all the hours spent in the postal office to send International Money Orders to pay, and also some money orders lost with no hope for refund.

I remember when no exotic palms were available in Italy and ordering from other European countries was the same as ordering from the farthest country in the world

Just seeds (and sometimes books - the only source of information) would go through the custom without stoping there and without fees

I am more happy today

Yep I even wrote letters to seed companies all around the world waiting months for a reply the ones that did reply restored your faith in humanity
