Hi Community,

We recently lost a fox tail palm soon after planting during a VERY wet period in Sydney. We have now planted 2 x Bangalow's in mid September that are rapidly dying, see photos's. in line with general advice we upped watering and ensured they were being soaked every couple of days... however this seems ot be making them worse!? soil is genraly quite dry but wet to touch at the moment as we have kept watering. i feel like they atre rotting (note picture of base, not sure what this is. any  help is really appreciated... thanks in advance all.

note: We thriving haliconia's an other plants in same area's

thanks again,

Neil
