Not sure if this one fits into this page my poor dypsis Pembana cops a hiding the crown shaft was damaged but it had other smaller trunks I had to get a tree removed on my property and the garden had right of way a few quotes later and discussion over where to fell the tree one service wanted to drop it straight on my wantana hybrid bottle x spindle  I let him know politely you can’t replace that palm overnight no thanks the tree in question was a bloodwood old growth tree at least 140 years old it was sad to see it go in Australia such a large dead tree is known as a widow maker

I feel your pain... all too frequently.

Falling trees are rather common in my Hawaii property. Stuff happens.

I'm hopeful it will survive. There is no moving that massive trunk until it deteriorates a bit.

One lucky palm and a lucky grower I have had a couple of understory palms get taken out by few big palm leaves now for the smaller ones I put up a small Steele frame until there a bit established good luck with your palm

My tree workers NEVER just let branches fall to the ground. They rope ‘em all and lower carefully. I can’t imagine how tree workers could saw off large portions like that and just let them fall where they will. I hope the growing point in your C. pembana is still intact.

True I made the mistake and said don’t worry about the bangalow palms not realising the situation for my pembana
