Laccospadix australasica

Featured Replies

A beautiful new frond on my newly planted (3 months ago?) Laccospadix australasica.

4 inch from floribunda. Small but already has a new frond and another on the way.

Santa Ana, CA. Part sun, on the east side of my house, shaded by a lemon tree.

Here is an image of one I purchased several years ago.  It was in a 5-gallon pot at the nursery greenhouse.

All I did was to transport it to my greenhouse, and then it died two months later !  :mrlooney:

Phil Bergman told me that with Laccospadix,   the stronger the color, the more difficult to grow.  :winkie:

Thank you, Darold!

I love the pic. I am hoping it does well. It’s pretty protected and doing well so far.
