With the new PT Update complete, there are some new features that you may soon discover. Here is one that has been added for the Web App that makes getting to PT on your phone or tablet fast and easy. 

Add a nifty icon to your Home Screen in iOS (iPhone/iPad) or Android.

If you have already added such a short cut - you may need to delete and add PT to your Home Screen again to add the new easy to see icon.

iPhone   

  1. While viewing the website, tap. in the menu bar (or click the Share button)
  2. Scroll down the list of options, then tap Add to Home Screen. If you don't see Add to Home Screen, you can add it. Scroll down to the bottom of the list, tap Edit Actions, then tap Add to Home Screen.

 

Android

  1. Open Chrome.
  2. Navigate to the website or web page you want to pin to your home screen.
  3. Tap the menu icon (3 dots in upper right-hand corner) and tap Add to home screen.
  4. Choose a name for the website shortcut, then Chrome will add it to your home screen.

iPhone here, I used the new app link and when it opens it takes me inside this thread and no easy way to get to the forum - just fyi

When you added it to your Home Screen, that is the page you were on.

You need to add it from whatever page you wish it to first display when you click on it.

And FYI - clicking on the main title logo at the top left of every page will always take you to the Main Menu page.

Everyone here should be a member of the International Palm Society!

Without the IPS to pay the bills, PalmTalk would cease to exist.

Not to mention all the good works of this non profit society.
