In PA? That’s impressive. Very exotic-looking setup around that pool. Does the homeowner protect those Trachycarpus over winter? How?

Palms of Victory I shall wear

Cape Coral (It's Just Paradise)

Elevation: 15 feet

I'd like to be under the sea in an octopus' garden in the shade.

Those must get completely boxed + lights or heat tape.

They do get boxed in in the winter which in my opinion in our area is A bit extreme for protection Because most winters in this area we don't go below zeros most years were in the low teens to  low single digits If I were him I would protect the palms how @Allen does But he can do whatever he wants I guess https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25w4dg2EznY

The ends justify the means. Those Trachies look great.

From what I've seen here in Atlanta over two decades, all T.fortunei are 100% cold-hardy at 10°F. But at 5°F, there is approx. 50% damage and 10% fatality.
