So I will be leaving for south beach exactly a week from now.  I will mainly be in Miami for the nightlife and beaches, but  I would also like to check out some of the palms in the area.

The main problem here, is that I will not have a rental car.  My hotel will be in northern south beach.  I'd like to know what I should check out that is in the general area.

There are private residences...or the Miami Beach palmetum...Behind the convention center.

You need to decide what its worth to see the finest tropical garden in the US...Fairchild. Get a car service to take you out there

about 3.5 miles south of the art deco district.  I can take a taxi to travel short distances.
