I’m having a real issue with fungus gnat worms eating the inside of my seeds while they germinate. Is there something you can coat them with to keep pests away?

Lowest seen: 16F, Highest seen: 105F. Heavy red clay (iron oxide). Amended to 6.5-7PH using Dolomitic lime. (No yearly fertilizer for lawn, just for independent plants).

Dry the medium out a bit in open air.  Give the seeds a good soak in a light bleach solution or in a mild contact insecticide.  That should keep your batch safe if they are still viable.

You’re keeping the medium too wet. It should be moist not soggy
