Cool climate palms in Mexico

Hello all,

I was doing some Google Maps searching in the town of Santiago de Querétaro, which is at around 6,000 ft. elevation in Central Mexico, and I happened upon this beautiful Kentia palm below. It got me thinking about the other cooler climate palms that are growable there. I also found a gorgeous windmill palm in Mexico City. Many people think of Mexico as hot and tropical, but many inland parts of the country, including Mexico City, are at quite a high elevation and have a relatively cool climate, similar to parts of coastal California. I have no doubt that Juania australis, Ceroxylon, and other cool climate palms would do great in certain high elevation areas around Mexico City, which are quite similar to their native habitats. Let me know if you know of any other cool climate palms growing in Mexico!
