Welp my skepticism was wrong. We've had about an inch and a half and it's still storming.

its so dry and with the water restrictions my palms are prematurely dropping leaves and holding smaller crowns.  I was several bismarckia turning bronze along the I75, on the way to defoliation.  Untill this year, they looked very nice without any irrigation.  

Formerly in Gilbert AZ, zone 9a/9b. Now in Palmetto, Florida Zone 9b/10a??

0.24" this morning. A light rain but a soaking rain. Need more like that.

There's about 0.75"-1" in the forecast for the next 7 days. Pattern favors chances for at least scattered showers and storms over the coming weeks in the Panhandle.
