ChicagoPalma
Here in Chicago, it’s definitely possible to grow palms, but strictly cold hardy palms with some decent protection. So I’m wondering if someone has a large mule palm and if someone also has a large Filibusta. Best if they would have maybe around 10ft of trunk. It’s best if possible to ship the palm. LeonardHolmes
It's pretty hard and prohibitively expensive to ship such large palms. Some nurseries such as Atlanta Palms might be talked into it. JungleMusic.net also ships larger plants at times. You can get 10 mule palm seedlings for under $160 from Mule Palms of Mississipi: https://www.mulepalmsofmississippi.com/palms/mule-palm-seedling-click-for-details-l6fgg These are essentially bare root sprouted seeds. Are you young enough to wait a few years? Edited February 26 by LeonardHolmes added pic
