Palm & Seed ID

I think this is a king palm and seeds from it.

If so, how do I germinate?

if not, what is it and how do I germinate?

I believe that the palm is Carpentaria acuminata - very similar to king palms (Archontophoenix) which has slightly larger and rounder seeds.  Regardless seeds can be germinated in a community pot or in a Ziploc baggie with moist (not wet) sphagnum moss and bottom heat.  Both germinate readily.

Seeds are too small for Veitchia which would be larger than the quarter.

2 different species in your photos. The palms in the first one look like Veitchia Arecina but the seeds look like Roystonea Regia seeds.

Here's a pic of Roystonea Regia seeds. Very similar to the ones in your photos.

Looks like royal palm seeds. Here's my example to compare.

I walked around and looked at the base of the palm in the photo.  The seeds appear to be different at the base of the palm, like Carpentaria acuminata as mentioned above (after referencing palmpedia for images).  But the seeds under it crushed under pressure as if the palm aborted the seeds.  There are Roystonea on the other side of the building, have no clue how they got that far though.  I've collected Roystonea before, and these seem different.  Maybe they are Roystonea seeds.

Edit - The seeds under the palms were about the same size as the ones I collected. in the pool area  However, they had the swirl like female/male flowers as noted in the palmpedia photo under Carpentaria acuminata.  Again, they crushed under pressure so I did not collect under the tree.  I figured the wind had blown them to the pool area.  There are a couple of coconuts, Sabal palmettos, Magnolia, etc. also near the pool...those are definitely not it. The Roystonea's on the front side of the building were new plantings (still have braces) w/ no barren seed stalks.  Roystonea that I collect are usually much darker in color similar to @idontknowhatnametusephotograph.

I am not good at identifying crown shaft palm.  ty for all that have helped.

My garden is covered in Roystonea seeds and seedlings even though I don't technically have one. Birds distribute them from the neighboring yards, and each palm generates hundreds of seeds at a time. Agree with the Veitchia ID for the palm pictured. Their seeds can vary in size but should be at least twice the size of royal seeds. If you can find viable seeds under it they germinate easily and grow quickly.

The palms themselves are definitely Veitchia and not Carpentaria.
