Did I get this right? Those W. robusta survived -23°C/-10°F in prolonged freeze?

That's amazing! Are these palms on the picture pure Robustas if so I'm very impressed.  I know they're cold hardy palms and it takes a lot to take them down.  Was it a dry freeze and how long ?

No freezing rain

Rain turned to snow. First night of ten below was abjective(wind), second was radiational.  Two consecutive nights of ten below.  Temperature data in chart above.

Consecutive nights of -10f(actually a bit colder!).

That's incredible! Even if they're a bit hybridised... 😨

At some point, the rain froze, then 7" of snow fell.

Some more Alamogordo robusta survivors.  Can they take colder temperatures without trunk scarring or constriction?
