Miracle Gro is a waste for palms.  It contains high amounts of NPK and lacks high amounts of micro nutrients.

I make my own fertilizer and use humus/manure.

A good fertilizer should contain either a 3-1-3 or 2-1-3 ratio for NPK, at least 4+% Magnesium and good amounts of Manganese, Iron, Calcium, Zinc, and Copper.
