Washingtonia filifera

Growing some Filifera from seeds at home thanks to NBTX11 who donated them to me.  Let's see how that works out for me. One will be planted in the front yard once the trunk is visible.  Any advices for successful growth would be appreciated.  I'm new to this .

Soak the seeds in a cup of water for several days. I’ve actually forgotten about them and they germinated in the water. It really helps soften them up and prepare to germinate. If any of the seeds float, it’s a bad seed.

I personally use seed starter potting mix from Home Depot.

One of my  hairy Filibustas . This is a palm from that hardy Fayetteville , NC palm that was a blade of grass last spring  .
