Things that can be done to ensure plams develop a nice thick trunk

When palms are developing juveniles what are good ways to ensure your palm develops a good trunk and not a thin trunk? I've heard water can directly correlate to trunk size on some palms. The palms are coconuts for me.

Coconuts grow fine for me giving them full sun, watering every 1-2 days, especially on hot and dry days. and fertilizing them every 3 months.

I ask Because mine seems on the thinner side of things especially from the side view this is the back view once those old leaf bases fall off the trunk will start revealing itself and it's not at a size I want it to be.Screenshot_20220914-225804_Gallery.thumb.jpg.d01408b23d285116459ac9945f84b13b.jpg

Still a juvenile palm with lots of growth left before the trunk reaches its mature width. Yes those smaller boots will fall off, but that doesnt mean that portion of the trunk is finished developing.

I hope so its a Fiji dwarf and the base just seems thin for a palm its size and fijis are supposed to be really fat trunked palms. Here is a full picture of the palm.
