About six years ago I started my little palm grove here in The Netherlands. Two Trachycarpus fortunei and one wagnerianus. The fortunei's were young trunkless plants, the waggie had a two meter trunk. It took two years before the fortunei's desided to take off. One of the two already has a larger trunk than the waggie, the other fortunei isn't in that big a hurry. The trunk of the waggie hardly gained hight, though it produces a fair amount of new leaves. I have little experience with growing palms in the open ground, so I would like to ask you guys how to feed these Trachies, how much and how often.

Imo if you have had to fertilize in 2 years then your doing something right, and your palms are happy. Unless your wanting to speed up growth or dealing with a deficiency leave them be. Most people fertilize twice during the growing seasons. Also finding a fertilizer that works well with your particular soil is key.
