Add Perilte or Pine Bark for extra drainage.

They all say they're free draining, even though it's almost always a complete lie. Also, tropical palms indoors will need better drainage than things in your garden.

Things to add to really make a compost mix actually free draining: pine bark, perlite, pumice, seramis, leca, sand, coir chips, horticultural grit (granite or quartzite chips) and no doubt others. It really depends on what you're trying to grow. Some palms like a really rather acidic medium, but some do not; that one looks potentially really acidic so it might be a good base for some.

I use ericaceous compost or just moss peat as a base for acid-loving plants; I use John Innes no. 3 for most others. For really tropical ones I try to use as little fine grained organic matter as possible.

Even soil from the garden (assuming it's not heavy clay) is better draining than any compost mix I've ever come across. If yours is good, don't ignore all that completely free growing media.
