All in the eyes of the beholder.... I think that they are pretty darn nice for public plantings.  All pretty durable species around here so good selections for public spaces and an ever changing group of care takers.  Thanks for sharing this little gem of an area.

Some great looking palms. San Diego is my favorite place I have ever visited. I always enjoy seeing more pictures from there.

This is a nice little park. there was a nice seading coccothrinax sp.  there a couple years ago with about 12ft of trunk and also a nice veitchia  arecina with about 8ft of trunk.  I allways wondered  who planted these palms .Great view of the bay also and downtown. Thanks for sharing and welcome back  Paul
