I dont know that this is technically a "tiki" but that word gets used for everything oceanic it seems.  I tried a Polynesian design at first but I'm evidently not good at them.  This was my first woodcarving project, I'd like to do more as time allows.

I can't be the only one... who else carves tiki?  Care to share?

I myself do not have that particular skill. However, I am about to decapitate a queen palm tomorrow actually leaving approximately 8ft. of trunk. My plan is to eventually pay someone to carve it into a tiki. So hopefully your post will find some talented tiki carvers from my area.

:D

That's beautiful work. Can't say for myself but my father is amateur sculptor and I have a lot of sculptures around garden, mostly in stone.

Damn good imo as well! Maybe more Easter island than tiki, but like you said all oceanic. Seriously nice bro!
