Hi Palm Friends…

Im trying to get my hands on some Turface but none of the nurseries or garden supply stores I’ve visited have even heard of it

I was able to find it online at doyourown.com but it’s $50 a bag!

Any LA folks have a lead on this stuff or a decent alternative?

Thanks!

It is available at places to use on ball fields and is usually sold by professional type 'turf supply' stores.  Type 'turf supply los angeles' or 'turf and landscape supply los angeles' in google.   I looked at google for you.  You will just need to search that and call around.

Ewing Irrigation and Landscape Supply carries it.   Should be several stores there in Los Angeles.

Nearest to you should be in Chatsworth ( Think you'd mentioned you're in/ near Thousand Oaks ) near the intersection of Variel Ave and Superior Street. Here, a 50lb bag is about $17.00.. No idea on how California locations are pricing it atm.

Orange County Farm Supply in the city of Orange has it if you ever find yourself South. FYI…

Those in the Orange County area….if you haven’t frequented Orange County Farm Supply for your fertilizer, mediums needs…I’d recommend it. Cool people in there too.
